About Us

Founded in 1988 due Dr. Robert DeAngelo’s passion for veterinary medicine, we are a mixed-animal practice caring for animals large and small. We understand that you want the best care and treatment for your animals, so we have a team of highly qualified veterinarians with extensive experience and training, including special training in small animal dentistry. We have access to board-certified specialists as well as a mobile surgeon, who make it possible for us to offer quality services in the field.

We have a fully equipped clinic with gas anesthesia for small and large animals, an ECG, pulse oximetry and blood pressure monitoring, an in-house laboratory suitable for routine analysis, a power-float for equine dentals, and a padded surgery and recovery stall for horses. We also have haul-in facilities for large animals, a digital dental X-ray, an ultrasonic dental scaler suitable for dental procedures on small animals, and ultrasound equipment.

About Dr. DeAngelo

Dr. Robert DeAngelo has had a long relationship with different animals, and he was able to realize his dream of veterinary school just before getting his teaching degree. Dr. DeAngelo’s interest in veterinary medicine and teaching makes him very willing to offer answers to different problems by holding educational seminars. He is a member of the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association and American Association of Equine Practitioners.Dr. DeAngelo has received several appreciation awards from 4-H and the El Paso County Farm Bureau.
